Profile

Your profile is where personal account settings live. Reach it from the user menu in the top-right corner of the application.

What you can manage

SectionDescription
Personal informationFirst name, last name and email address. The email is the identifier you sign in with — to change it, contact support.
PasswordThe profile page links to a password-change form for accounts that signed up with email + password. Social accounts (Google, GitHub, Microsoft, Apple, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) manage their password at the identity provider.
API keyGenerate or revoke a personal API token for the public REST API. The token is shown once on creation; copy it immediately. If you lose it, regenerate to get a fresh one (the previous token stops working).

Subscription and quotas

Your active subscription, billing details and current usage are shown on the Subscription page (linked from the profile). Thee page also surfaces the quota for queries, detections and notifications.

Messages

System messages, e.g. detection events, appear in the bell menu in the top navigation. There is no separate message preference panel today — every member sees the events relevant to them.

Two-factor authentication is on the roadmap. In the meantime, signing in via Google, Microsoft, Apple or another social provider is the recommended way to get multi-factor protection on your Shadowspotter account.
